The GMAT exam is a computer adaptive test that assesses candidates’ analytical writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills in standard English. The cost of the GMAT exam is $ 250. This test is taken to gain admission to a graduate management program such as: MBA , Master courses in Top Business schools around the globe.

The GMAT exam has been shortened by 30 minutes by the Graduate Management Admissions Council since April 16, 2018 for the 2021 exam. The GMAT exam will now take 3 Hours and 30 minutes which will include the exam instructions as well as the breaks. The Verbal reasoning section was shortened by 13 minutes and the Analytical Writing Assessment was shortened by 10 minutes. The changes made by the Graduate Management Admissions Council have confirmed that these changes will not affect the scoring of Shortened Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Sections because they have only removed the un rated items from the GMAC. GMAT allows candidates to customize their GMAT exam by choosing the order of the section they want to appear for the exam.
The GMAT Exam is a 3 hours 7 minutes online test. It consists of 4 broad sections namely:

The maximum marks which can be attained is 800 and although there are only 4 sections, the marks are calculated for each of the 4 sections, along with an added score of the 2 sections of Quantitative Aptitude and the Verbal Ability combined. Hence, in total there are 5 components as the scoring elements. These 5 components make up the final score. The marks of the other sections are considered separately.

There are no Eligibility Criteria set for GMAT Exam by the GMAC. However, you should always meet the university/college admission criteria that you have to meet after you have been awarded the GMAT.
The GMAT Exam consists of 4 sections as mentioned above. As with any examination of importance, a candidate has to be thorough with the exam syllabus, before he/she can start with preparation for the said exam. and before the candidate can start his/her preparation, they need to closely examine the GMAT Syllabus
The GMAT Syllabus is given in broad terms on the official GMAC website. In this article, we will talk about the overall GMAT Syllabus, and try dissecting it according to the different sections for your better understanding.
The registration fee for the GMAT exam is $ 250, which is approximately INR 18,300. If applicants want to change centers or postpone the test, they will be charged additional costs. Candidates who fail to take the test pay the full GMAT exam fee.
If you cancel the exam 1 to 14 days before the test date, you will be billed $ 200 and refunded $ 50. If you cancel the exam 15 to 60 days before the deadline, you will be billed $ 175 and refunded $ 75. And if you cancel the test more than 60 days before the appointment, you will be billed $ 150 and refunded $ 100. In addition, the test date cannot be canceled or changed within 24 hours of the scheduled test and time.
If you reschedule the exam from 1 to 14 days before the test date, you need to pay 150 USD. Also, if you reschedule the exam 15 to 60 days before your appointment, you must pay $ 100. If you reschedule the exam more than 60 days before the test date, you must pay US $ 50.
According to GMAC, you can register for the GMAT entrance exam 6 months before the Graduate Management Admission Test date or at least 24 hours before the 2021 GMAT exam date, but the place is not available at the last moment. It is therefore advisable to book your desired place well in advance of the scheduled exam date.
Ways to register for GMAT:

Although it is not always possible to get a GMAT slot at the last moment. So you should go to the GMAT exam registration 2021 at least 3 months before the planned exam date.

The 2021 GMAT registration fees in India are $ 250 (approximately 18,646). In addition, candidates must pay a GMAT reschedule fee of US $ 50 if they want to reschedule the exam. Additionally, candidates must pay $ 80 as a GMAT cancellation fee if they cancel the exam.

Therefore there are no specific GMAT test dates. The GMAT exam takes place several times a year. Candidates should go to GMAT registration at least 3 months before the scheduled appointment.
