Course Overview

This is a four-year programme that educates students on the role of food and nutrition in health and disease. Students will learn the science and practice of dietetics, which is the application of nutrition knowledge and skills to prevent and treat various medical conditions, such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. Students will also learn the skills and techniques of nutritional assessment, counselling, education, and management. Students will also have the opportunity to pursue their studies at one of IMU�s partner universities in Australia, Canada, China, Ireland, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom

Entry Requirement

A pass in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade B (NGMP 3.00) in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent. A pass in the Matriculation/Foundation/Pre-University programme with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent. A pass in the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade A in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent. A pass in the Diploma in Science or a related field from a recognised institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.50, or equivalent. A minimum score of 550 in the paper-based TOEFL, 79 in the internet-based TOEFL, or 6.0 in the IELTS, or equivalent.
